After three weeks of NPH action, one team has quickly thrust itself into the bullseye as "the team to beat".
Busted, co-owned by Aaron Anderson and Kyle Covell, crusied to a 9-1-2 blowout win over Skate Hard. That came on the heels of a 10-1-1 win the week before. It's safe to say the team is as hot as the real-life team of its star player, Sidney Crosby.
Special kudos have to go out to Avs starting goalie Craig Anderson, who has started 11 straight games as his backup, Peter Budaj, recovers from some sort of mutant strain of H1N1 or something. Anderson has 8 wins already, more than half his win total from last year in part-time duty with the Panthers.
Busted has a date with the last-place team in the Tri-State Division, Winnipeg jets, this week. The Jets only have 5 scheduled games by its goalies this week (Kiprusoff and Chris Mason) so the Busted hot streak could continue.
